![]() ![]() The idea behind a 1 time check is that people aren't going to need to import more than either SAI 1 or SAI 2 (Pre-2020 update). Init check is the last resort if none of the above are available and installs default tools. 1 in the default installation c:\ - and "SAI2 Demo" in C:\Users\(Username)\Documents\SYSTEMAX Software Development\ If the Settings folder is missing then checks for previous ver. When SAI2EXE is "first" launched it does a check for "Settings" folder in C:\Users\(Username)\Documents\SYSTEMAX Software Development\SAIv2. You don't have to go that far to get the prompt. So for now the work around is the only available option. That being said I've already reached out to the developer about the issue and it doesn't sound like its a priority for him to add a post launch import feature, even if people wish to import both SAI 2 Pre-2020 brushes and SAI 1. with its tools then there is a chance it will by-pass the process. So if you've installed and launched SAI before you've installed the previous ver. But from my understanding the client only does the 3 Point check if the client hasn't already established its tools set. Which is a whole convoluted process for getting compatible tools. Then change the file name of any tools where the names overlap. There are loop-holes to import multiple brush-sets by backing up the settings folder before deleting the SAIv2 Folder. I'll agree it isn't a great design and only takes account that the user is upgrading from Earlier ver of SAI 2 or SAI 1. ![]()
